Friends,
As Nebraska heads into Election Day tomorrow, one thing is abundantly clear:
The eyes of the nation are on Nebraska.
Election integrity experts, cybersecurity professionals, attorneys, data analysts, poll watchers, grassroots activists, and transparency organizations from across America will be watching this race closely.
👉 Voter rolls are being analyzed.
👉 Election procedures are being monitored.
👉 Public records are being reviewed.
👉 Cybersecurity experts are observing.
👉 Citizen auditors and legal teams are paying attention.
And that is exactly how it should be.
The American people deserve elections that are conducted fairly, transparently, lawfully, and openly with accountability at every level.
Any irregularities, misconduct, or violations of election law deserve scrutiny and must be fully investigated. Transparency is not a threat to democracy. Transparency is what protects our Republic.
Over the past several years, an incredible network of citizen journalists, cybersecurity experts, data analysts, attorneys, poll watchers, grassroots volunteers, and election integrity advocates have stepped forward to ask hard questions, demand accountability, and push for stronger safeguards and greater transparency.
That work matters.
I especially want to thank:

Special shoutouts to rising data voices like Jennica Pounds (@DataRepublican) for her sharp quantitative analysis and tools that expose patterns, and to Andrew Paquette (@ZarkFiles) for detailed voter roll and algorithmic research.
And thank you to the countless grassroots volunteers, poll watchers, citizen auditors, and local activists working quietly behind the scenes across America to ensure transparency and trust in our elections.
Many of these individuals have spent years researching voting systems, auditing voter rolls, collecting Cast Vote Records (CVRs), monitoring election procedures, educating the public, and advocating for transparency reforms most Americans never even realize exist.
Others have traveled the country teaching communities about cybersecurity, chain-of-custody procedures, hand-count verification, statistical anomalies, public records laws, and the importance of citizen oversight.
Whether through data analysis, legal advocacy, poll watching, election observation, or public education, your vigilance has helped keep transparency and accountability at the center of the national conversation.
Tomorrow night, many eyes across the country will be watching Nebraska closely, and that is a good thing.
Transparency should never fear observation. Public trust is strengthened, not weakened, when citizens remain watchful and engaged.
As I’ve said throughout this campaign:
Trust must be earned through transparency.
No matter what happens tomorrow, I believe this movement for greater openness, accountability, and election integrity will continue growing because the American people understand something fundamental:
Self-government only works when the public has confidence in the process.
Thank you for your patriotism. Thank you for your courage. Thank you for your persistence. And thank you for continuing to fight for transparency, accountability, and the integrity of our republic.
God bless you. God bless Nebraska. And God bless the United States of America.
For Nebraska,
Scott Petersen,
Candidate for Nebraska Secretary of State
