WARNING: The D.C. Playbook Is Coming to Nebraska

I want to give you a heads up. With just weeks until the May 12 primary, you’re going to start seeing something familiar in this race and it has nothing to do with the issues that matter to Nebraska.
It’s the D.C. smear playbook.
We’ve seen it before. When an incumbent can’t defend their record, they don’t answer questions. They change the subject and attack the challenger.
Right now, there are real questions being raised about decisions made by the current Secretary of State: questions about policy, priorities, and accountability.
Instead of clear answers, what we’re seeing is something else:
Out-of-state consultants.
National donor influence.
And the early signs of a narrative shift away from the facts.
That’s not how we do things in Nebraska. This campaign is different.
We’re not being run from Annapolis or Washington. We’re building this the Nebraska way… showing up in your communities, answering tough questions, and earning your trust.
No scripts. No consultants telling us what to say. No distractions. Just the truth.
Here’s what I need you to do: Stay focused.
Over the next few weeks, you’re going to hear noise. You’re going to see attacks. That’s how this playbook works.
But this election should be about something much bigger:
✅ Secure elections.
✅ Transparent government.
✅ And leadership that answers to you, not political insiders.
