Holly Kesler endorses Scott Petersen for Nebraska Secretary of State and praises his commitment to grassroots election integrity.

OMAHA, Neb. — Scott Petersen, Republican nominee for Nebraska Secretary of State, today announced the endorsement of Holly Kesler, founder of Kesler Consulting and a nationally recognized active grassroots organizer with a focus on election integrity.

Kesler has spent years organizing citizens, building networks and working across state lines on election-integrity and government-accountability issues. She co-founded a national grassroots election-integrity team that built networks spanning all 50 states and previously represented Georgia through Cause of America.

“I am proud to endorse Scott Petersen for Nebraska Secretary of State,” Kesler said. “I have spent years working across the country with citizens, grassroots leaders, organizations and policymakers who are serious about protecting the integrity of our elections. Through that work, I have learned that meaningful reform rarely begins in Washington. It begins with people in their own communities who are willing to ask hard questions, do the work and keep showing up.”

Kesler said Petersen’s willingness to study election administration, engage grassroots leaders and make election integrity a governing priority sets him apart.

“I have worked with all sides and all parties on a nationwide scale to strengthen election security and accountability,” Kesler said. “Very few candidates share Scott’s willingness to go the extra mile in this essential work. He listens to the people on the ground, studies the issues and understands that restoring confidence in elections is much more than a campaign talking point.”

Kesler has also become known for confronting powerful institutions when she believes accountability is required. In Georgia, she was among the activists who pursued formal complaints and public scrutiny surrounding Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis, and she has continued working nationally on election-integrity efforts.

“My own work has taught me that public trust depends on people being willing to act when accountability is needed,” Kesler said. “The same principle applies to elections. Transparency matters. Accountability matters. Citizens should be able to understand the process, participate in it and have confidence that their concerns will be taken seriously.”

Kesler said Petersen understands that election integrity is ultimately about more than technology or procedure.

“What impresses me most is that Scott understands lasting confidence is built by bringing citizens back into the process, strengthening local accountability and creating systems that can withstand public scrutiny,” Kesler said.

“Nebraska now has an opportunity to lead the United States in election integrity. With Scott Petersen as Secretary of State, Nebraska can demonstrate what transparent, secure and citizen-centered elections should look like.”

Kesler concluded:

“Scott has done the homework, built the relationships and shown the commitment. Nebraska has an opportunity to lead the nation in election integrity, and I am proud to stand with him and endorse him as Nebraska’s next Secretary of State.”

Petersen said Kesler’s endorsement is meaningful because she understands what it takes to build a grassroots movement across state lines.

“Holly is a fighter, an organizer and someone who has never been afraid to step forward when she believes accountability is necessary,” Petersen said. “She has helped connect grassroots leaders across the country and has spent years working with people who are willing to roll up their sleeves and take responsibility for strengthening their communities and their elections.”

“What I respect most about Holly is that she does not just talk about grassroots involvement. She builds it. She connects people, develops networks and helps citizens turn concern into action. That is exactly the spirit I want to bring into the Secretary of State’s office.”

Petersen said Nebraska can become a national model by pairing strong election safeguards with genuine citizen involvement.

“Our goal should never be to tell Nebraskans to simply trust the system,” Petersen said. “Our responsibility is to build election processes transparent, secure and verifiable enough that we continually earn that trust. Holly understands that mission, and I am grateful to have her standing with us.”

Petersen has made restoring confidence in Nebraska elections a central focus of his campaign for Secretary of State, emphasizing accurate voter rolls, citizenship verification, voter ID, voter-verifiable paper ballots, strong chain-of-custody protections, transparent audits and greater public involvement in election administration.
