Nebraska Farm Bureau PAC Endorses Scott Petersen for Nebraska Secretary of State

OMAHA, Neb. — Scott Petersen, Republican nominee for Nebraska Secretary of State, today announced the endorsement by the Nebraska Farm Bureau Political Action Committee.

The endorsement adds the support of one of Nebraska’s most prominent agricultural organizations to Petersen’s campaign for Secretary of State.

“Nebraska agriculture is the backbone of our state, and I’m proud to earn the endorsement of the Nebraska Farm Bureau PAC,” Petersen said. “I’m grateful for the confidence of the farmers, ranchers and agricultural leaders who work every day to feed Nebraska, America and the world.”

Petersen said the endorsement reflects the importance of making sure state government works well for rural communities, producers and businesses across all 93 counties.

“As Secretary of State, I will always remember that Nebraska does not stop at the city limits of Lincoln or Omaha,” Petersen said. “Our farmers, ranchers and rural businesses deserve a state government that is responsive, efficient and accountable.”

Petersen said his priorities for the office include strengthening confidence in Nebraska elections, improving business services and ensuring the Secretary of State’s office is accessible and responsive to Nebraskans in every part of the state.

“Agriculture depends on strong communities, reliable institutions and leaders who understand the importance of stewardship,” Petersen said. “I’ll work every day to earn the confidence Nebraska Farm Bureau has placed in me and to serve the people who make our state strong.”
